WYRDandy, a dynamic duo of designers in the music world, celebrates the elaborate simplicity of love's expression, foretold through undeniable grooves and light lyrics. Blending vocal harmonies with strings, synths, and horns, this duo offers a uniquely familiar take on SlopPop, a genre that seamlessly combines alternative indie pop rock music.
Their story unfolds like a serendipitous magical meeting that manifests into mystical musical delights. The band exists as the love child of Amanda, hailing from the hot spring-laden, snow-covered Eastern Sierras, and Danté, from the toasted Sonoran Desert. Their journey began after discovering love in each other’s gaze at the Joshua Tree Music Festival in May ‘25.
Together, they draw inspiration from long drives into the unknown, sun-soaked days, and the fiery romance that united them, capturing the wild journey they’ve embarked on since.
In every chord they play, the story of their love is told through their enchanting music.
