"WYRDandy is a sun-drenched, high-vibe 'Slop Pop' duo, blending gritty Americana folk roots, soaring vocal harmonies, flugelhorn, and raw, late-night grooves into an unapologetic celebration of love and freedom."
This idea, this concept. Maybe even a bit of a belief structure, if you’re really milking it.
Slop Pop.
A celebration of uninhibited, Unabashed expression, the wild free shout, and the joy that comes from sharing it. The belief that any expression is beautiful and worth celebrating. Is any other creature worried about how they sound? Or do they cry out because it’s what their very DNA demands of them? The most biologically natural thing. , outside of love making. To express. To move to make a sound. And to be seen and recognized and accepted. It works on two guitars and two voices. But get some spaciness from the synth and a little boom slap pow from the drum pad. And bodies move. And creation explodes, and people Get Wyrd, and wild, and they are celebrated for it.
Danté and Mandy met on Mother’s Day, fell in Love nine days later, and dove, headfirst, into their wildest dreams shortly after..
That fiery, mystical connection birthed WYRDandy.
Since launching at the beginning of the year, they have swept across the country—playing dazzling shows from the dust of the Joshua Tree deserts to the Texas wilderness.
Performing, facing one another, over their signature two-tiered sun altar, Rovana, they deliver an intimate, raw, and deeply joyful live experience. Their summer tour, "Love's Triumph," is currently capturing hearts across California and the Pacific Northwest.
WYRDandy channels desert heat, mountain soul, and ecstatic devotion into a sonic and spiritual experience that feels both intimate and shockingly alive.
